livin' on the cheap

"The limitless riches of God are flowing to me as fast as I can receive and use them and as I prosper, other people prosper as well"

I am starting with this quote because we all need to remember what is important. That is why I have decided to put my family on a reality diet.
Yes, reality. Why do you expect the Universe, God, The Angels to do all the work for you? Because you have sacrificed time and faith and hope , that you now have a "blessing" and God will take good care of you?
Don't hold your breath OK, The Universe doesn't really care at all about your feelings. Ask your self what you are before you ask who you are.
You are already God !

As I see it from an astrological point of view, man has always struggled for survival and even through what we consider these times 'modern times" man has made sacrifices, frozen to death, died of starvation, survived wars with missing limbs and died over and over again.

So here we are at a new beginning with Uranus leading the way. Yikes, if we are to take history as an example, look at the 1930's and 40's. There were so many revolutionary new ideas and some of the ones that took hold were the most extreme ones. Like Fascism and of course Hitler's notion of what was good for his country. Could it be that the German people were starving and were willing to fall in line for food and safety? Did they suffer anyhow? Yes. Everyone was scared I know that!

The new beginnings astrologers talk about lately are about understanding that simple is better, that forgiveness is essential and moving on is important.

"I love you, I bless you, I am free and you are fee to move into new glorious situations"

Living on the cheap~

eat lentil dishes twice a week
eat less meat
less carry out
more grains
get some rice and have that instead of pasta
eat more salad ( lettuce is cheap)
eat more kale (cheap)

avoid pre mixed or frozen foods
avoid anything that comes in a box and then a plastic packet of melty cheese looking sauce ( I mean how hard is it to make a rough and cheese and milk?)

Awesome Lentil Soup

big pot filled with water
add one bag of lentils
1 onion whole and peeled and intact
1 whole head of garlic
bay leaves ( I use 3)
peppercorns
whole allspice (optional)
1 tbsp salt
1/4 c olive oil
oregano leaves
paperica

cook for about 2 hours on medium

in a separate pan, heat up some olive oil, take out the onion and garlic with a slotted spoon and fry it up in the pan, smash it good and make sure you take the garlic peels out. Add more paparica and 1 tbsp flour and make a loose paste like mixture. Now add some of the broth from the soup to loosen it and put the whole thing back with the soup. Add salt pepper to taste and feast with some good bread and soup!

If you still feel hungry, have some more. May it nourish your soul:)
